A Jolly Good christmas at Bourne Hall

A Jolly Good time at Bourne Hall: 9th December 23 - 16th December 23 

This year Bourne Hall will be hosting a full week of Christmas Festivities.  

Saturday 9th December: A Day full of fun for all the family with the grand opening of our Christmas Grotto, a line-up of performances from local dance schools, and at the end of the day the Mayor will be doing Bourne Halls Big Christmas light switch on! Light switch on will be at 16:30. A free day out for all the family!

Monday 11th December: Jade Sibley from Hook Heath Flower Farm will be hosting a Christmas wreath making class. Bringing Flowers and Dried foliage straight from the Farm to Bourne Hall. Teaching you how to design and assemble your very own Wreath. taking place from 19:00-21:00 in our Begonia Room . Tuesday 12th December: Anita Chappel our Head Chef will be running a Christmas cake decorating workshop from 18:00-19:00, helping you create your very own festive snacks from 17:30-19:00 in our Begonia room. Please enquire for pricing.

Wednesday 13th December: As the nights lengthen and the year grows old, honour the darkness in the company of our veteran storyteller Jeremy Harte. From a place of dust and shadows, he brings you age-old tales of seasonal superstitions from the cold heart of winter. (19:00-20:00 Rose Room) Free Entry

Thursday 14th December: Join us for a festive fun screening of How the Grinch stole Christmas, a heart-warming tale for all ages. Our flying Saucer Cafe tuck shop wil opne for all your movie snack needs! (18:00-20:30 Rose Room Rated PG) Free event.

Saturday 16th December: Join us at The Flying Saucer Café to listen to the Sounds of the Dragonfly Sky Band, surrounded by Festive snacks and Drinks. 

 

Santa’s Grotto will be open from 10:00-16:00 on the 9th,11th,12th,13th,14th, 15th ,16th. 

Due to it being Santa's busiest time of year he will only be able to Meet and Greet on the 9th and 16th December. However, from the 9th until the 16th there will be a post box in his grotto to send him a letter and plenty of Christmas card photo opportunities for the whole family!  We will also be giving out candy canes.
