Local Art Group Bourne Hall Art Workshop

To Host Vibrant Exhibition this November

Budding local amateur artists from the Bourne Hall Art Workshop, celebrating their 20th anniversary, are set to showcase their talent in a colourful exhibition from November 3rd to 15th at Bourne Hall in Ewell. The exhibition will feature a diverse selection of original artworks— available for sale at reasonable prices—highlighting the creativity and passion of this close-knit community group.

Entry to the exhibition is completely free, and visitors will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite piece in the People’s Choice competition. The artist behind the winning painting will receive a special prize, adding a friendly dash of competition to the event.

BHAW (also short for ‘Brushes, Hues, and Art Wednesdays’) meets weekly in the Camellia Room on Wednesday afternoons and new members are always welcome—regardless of skill level. Whether you’re a beginner with a sketchpad or a seasoned painter, you’ll find a warm and encouraging environment.

The group’s founder Richard Crook will soon be celebrating his 90th birthday. Richard still attends the group weekly, passing on his artistic skills and knowledge. Through our workshops we aim to inspire creativity; nurture talent and foster a sense of community pride.
